 Rev. Berhane Kahsai came to know the Lord at a young age and he has stood firm and steadfast till the present time.
After completing high school successfully, Rev. Berhane studied
theology at Faith Mission Bible School in Eritrea. And while he was
there, he was instructed by the Rev. Tekie Mebrahtu who is well known
for his piety and godly reputation among Eritrean community. In the
mean time, Berhane's life was also greatly influenced and gracefully
shaped under the ministry of the Rev. Dr. Mesgun Tedla who is well
versed in theology. Rev. Berhane then continued his biblical studies and he was able to earn his first degree from Global University through correspondence. Rev. Berhane served
the Lord Jesus actively and tirelessly at Faith Mission where he
undertook various responsibilities for 26 years. Currently he is doing
masters of divinity in biblical
and theological studies at Nairobi International School of Theology.
Now Rev. Berhane has authored a valuable book entitled "Know Your Bible" in Tigrigna.
The content of this book is divided into three major sections.
1. How the Bible came into being
2. Study method of the Bible
3. Brief analysis of the books of the Bible
The
book presents brief insightful description of each of the book of the
Bible, which qualifies it to be rich in biblical information. So it can
be used as a companion to the Bible, for it is profitable for a layman
as well as a theologian, for recent convert and for some one who is
deeply rooted in the Christian faith. And for a bibliophilist it will
make an excellent addition to his/her home library. Since "Know Your Bible" can
also be used as reference book. The Nehemiah Project Team believes
that, for those who have an earnest desire to diligently study the
Bible, this text is pivotal in assisting them to better understand the
Scriptures. Besides, our heartfelt suggestion is that, it could be a

Last but not least, Rev. Berhane's work
is recommended by the Rev. Dr. Tewoldemedhin Habtu, who is an associate
professor at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of theology in Kenya.
